"For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body; so also is Christ.

Have you ever eaten a Jackfruit? It's amazing! Sweet, smooth, yet firm, and each pod has its own personality. Did I ring a bell? Just like the body of Christ, a jackfruit has so many characters, and they all play a part. From the tough prickly skin, that I wouldn't advise you to eat, to the white layers that cover the juicy sweet pods to help it ripen, and even in the root of their big seeds which is best powdered for a healthy helping of Vitamin A. God blesses the body of Christ with powerful gifts as such to protect, serve, and provide the structure of His people, so we are prepared to carry out His Will.

"For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit." ~ 1ST Corinthians 12:13

I love when Paul wrote, "For the body is not one member, but many" in 1ST Corinthians 12:14. Under the Holy Spirit, he explains we are the body of Christ, and "God set the members everyone of them in the body, as it hath pleased Him". I smile reading 1ST Corinthians 12:18 thinking of how I came into meeting you through Tennille's introduction to Toni and The Taco Bar Bible Study.
