Titles & Responsibility

Being in my apartment, completing my first Taco Bar Bible Study, and focusing on being an obedient Daughter of Zion is, in itself, a lifestyle. There really isn't a title, but plenty of responsibility, and I enjoy honoring our Heavenly Father.

Nehemiah 10 & 11 explains the people of God committing themselves to honoring God by obeying His laws, honoring His Sabbath, and paying tithes to maintain God's house of Worship. This pretty much explains my day to day struggle. For many, paying tithes is difficult, but for me, that's the easy part. Obeying our Heavenly Father Will, and honoring His Sabbath is hard. Great jobs want you to promise you will put them above all else. But my God said that is worshiping idles and I am not to put anything before Him. Most retailers also consider Friday night, and Saturdays as the busiest schedules for customers, but, that's Sabbath. I struggle with making right decisions in fear of being homeless. But I remember, I obtained all these things in prayer. God heard my cry, saw my commitment, and my goals, aligned with His Will. My responsibilities were to be an obedient Daughter of Zion, providing a place of worship, and lessons about His Word, so our Heavenly Father provided all my needs. I needed to be patient, and continue in prayer, faith, and obedience to maintain what ultimately belongs to Him.

But I must confess, my biggest struggle is not having the privilege to share these amazing experiences on my walk with Christ with a God fearing man. Many single men do not understand that a "Christian" is a title and host a responsibility to enlighten the world that Jesus died on the cross for everyone, even non-believers, to be given the opportunity to believe in such a love so passionate and powerful. Is that why Christian women tend to love so passionately & powerful? Well, we are a reflection of our Father.

With this being said, being adopted in the "Christian" family is to respect our Heavenly Father and align our goals with the family business; Enlightening all those lost with God's unconditional love. Informing them that "Yes, love includes correction" and "No, God does not hate you because of your sin, He hates your sin because he loves you". Our Heavenly Father raises us in the direction of His ultimate plan, as His Holy Spirit blesses us with gifts that guides us in the direction that fulfills His plan. It's through our obedience, that we honor Him.
